Manhattan Pharmaceuticals To Present At The PIPEs Conference 2005 In New York

NEW YORK, NY OCT. 25, 2005 - Manhattan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (AMEX: MHA) announced that Douglas Abel, President and Chief Executive Officer, will present at the PIPEs Conference 2005 on October 26 and 27 at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. Mr. Abel will provide a corporate overview, including a review of the Company's lead product candidate Oleoyl-estrone (OE), an experimental, orally administered small molecule in development for the treatment of obesity.
