Manhattan Pharmaceuticals to Webcast Annual Shareholder Meeting

NEW YORK, May 22, 2007 -- Manhattan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (AMEX:MHA - News) today announced it will host a live webcast of its annual shareholder meeting scheduled for Thursday, May 24, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. EDT. In addition to voting on the items in the Proxy Statement the meeting will also include a presentation by Douglas Abel, president and chief executive officer. The meeting is being held at The American Stock Exchange, 86 Trinity Place in New York City.
